Michał Zawada, Ph.D.

Michał Zawada was born in 1985 in Kraków, Poland. In 2004-2009 he studied history of art at the Jagiellonian University and in 2005-2010 he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków in Andrzej Bednarczyk’s class. In 2013 he received his Ph.D. in Fine Arts. Since 2012 he works as Assistant in the 6th Painting Class of Prof. Andrzej Bednarczyk. Since 2016 he works as Vice-Dean of Painting Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. He was awarded the Scholarship of the Republic of Austria (Akademie der bildenden Künste, Vienna, 2014-2015).
